Since the start of the World Cup, twitter has its issues just like officials at the tournament. Since most of the games are played during the weekdays and I use the social networking site for work, I have noticed something about site, it can not handle the World Cup. As the days have passed I have become very good friends with the "Fail Whale."
I thought weekends would be different, because less people are working and on computers, but boy was I wrong today. Take the England Germany game, twitter was acting like John Terry (not getting the job down). The site kept crashing and when Lamp's goal that was not called a goal happened the site was nowhere to be found.
While people keep complaining about the ball, the real issue with this World Cup has been its affect on twitter.
