Heisman Trophy Propaganda

Every year Sports Information Directors at major football schools do their best to get the word out about the possible Heisman Trophy candidate playing on their roster. This year that was no different at Missouri, as they try to raise the profile of quarterback Chase Daniels. So the gang in Columbia decided to send this following package out to newspapers around the country and I was lucky to get my hands on it.

Nothing beats a box with a huge Tiger logo on it. By the way, each item that was sent out cost $2.52 to mail.

Inside each box was a view finder, yes a view finder, with highlights of Daniels
The classic view finder ring, complete with the Tigers logo
Wow it was great to get this in the mail at work, but it came after Daniels had two of his worst games of his career. Oh well, I'm sure this did not cost a ton of money.

Bringing the Pain

I am not a huge fan of the MMA, but I am huge wrestling fan and that is where this video comes in. ESPN's E:60 did a great feature on Brock Lesner's switch from pro wrestling to MMA, here it is.

Separated at Birth: Left Wing Spurs

Things are so bad at Spurs that now some of their own players are being compared to radical left wing commentators. Just look at MSNBC left wing commentator Rachel Maddow and Spurs winger David Bentley. They look like they have been separated at birth.

David Bentley, no wait that is Rachel Maddow.
David Bentley

So as you see Maddow and Bentley might be the same person.

Paging Slaven Bilic

With Tottenham Hotspur continuing to look like a pub side, going down to Stoke 2-1 on Sunday, one thing is becoming more and more clear, the Magic Juande has lost his touch. Almost a year after sacking Martin Jol, Daniel Levy and the rest of the board should treat the Juande they same way they treated the Tony Soprano look alike.

If the board does the right thing and gets ride of the former Sevilla man, they should look at someone that will bring an attitude to the club, Slaven Bilic. The Croatian rock star could be the perfect fit for struggling Spurs.

First of all he knows English, which is something that the magic one has failed to do. Bilic would bring a free flowing style to the White Hart Lane and most importantly he might be able to get the most of Luka Modric. At the national team level, Modric runs the Croats midfield and serves as creator, something that he has not been able to do at Spurs as of yet. Bilic would give him the confidence to play as creator.

The faithful at White Hart Lane would love Bilic. London would be the perfect city for him and just think he could even play a concert in the bar.

Sven the Stoner

Things are heating up on the show, Sven is smoking weed and the Special One is preparing for a debate with Don Fabio next week.
